WHAT'S INCLUDED

No Halloween is complete without choosing the perfect pumpkin!

Explore our pumpkin patch and Shop of Horrors to discover pumpkins of every shape and size, from tiny munchkins to giant carving

pumpkins. Wheelbarrows (including mini ones for little monsters!) are available to make choosing them part of the adventure.

Take family photos amongst the pumpkins before taking yours home ready for carving.

Help Pip Save Halloween!

Brand new for 2026, our interactive Halloween Story Trail invites children into an enchanted fairy-tale adventure. Journey through the themed story scenes for fun challenges to complete, fantastic family photos and plenty of Halloween magic.

Can you find all the creepy ingredients? Reach into the haunted holes to find the spooky objects to earn a delicious Halloween surprise.

Gather around the fire pits and toast your own marshmallow for the perfect autumn treat.

Ready… Set… SPLASH!

Choose your lucky Halloween duck and send it racing down the water course.

Climb, crawl and explore our enormous spider web – perfect for energetic little ghouls!

Can you uncover the hidden Halloween surprises buried beneath the sand?

Grab a shovel and start digging…

Take aim at the Wicked Witch targets using poison onions and see if you’ve got what it takes to defeat them! Additional charge applies.

FAQ

Booking & Tickets

Do I need to book in advance?

We strongly recommend booking in advance online as sessions are capacity controlled and popular dates and times often sell out.

What does my ticket include?

Your ticket includes entry to all the above activities with the exception of the Poison Onion Cannon (additional cost can be paid at the event if you would like to take part). Please note there is no ice cream included in the ticket price.

Are there tickets available on the door?

If we have availability, tickets may be available on arrival. However, we can't guarantee entry, so booking online is the best way to avoid disappointment.

What happens if it rains?

Our Halloween event goes ahead whatever the weather, so please dress for the conditions and wear suitable footwear. The event is outdoors but many of the activities are under cover.

Can I change my booking?

Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred up to 7 days in advance via the ‘My Booking’ link on your confirmation email and non-transferable.

Ages

What age is Once Upon a Pumpkin suitable for?

The experience has been specially designed for children aged approximately 2–8 years, although older and younger siblings are very welcome and will often enjoy joining in too.

Is it suitable for babies and toddlers?

Yes. Babies and toddlers are welcome, with plenty of colourful displays, photo opportunities and gentle interactive activities for little ones to enjoy. Children under 1 go free and children under 92cm have a reduced ticket price.

Is it suitable for older children?

While the event is aimed at 2–8 year olds, older children often enjoy the themed games and activities, pumpkin picking and family photo opportunities, but there are some activities they might not get involved with.

How long does the experience take?

Most families spend around 60 minutes enjoying the event, although you're welcome to stay longer. Once you have exited the event area, there is no re-admission.

Pumpkin Picking

Are pumpkins included in the ticket?

Pumpkins are available as an optional extra. You can either purchase an admission ticket only or choose one of our Pumpkin Tickets, which includes a medium pumpkin. Alternatively you can choose and purchase your pumpkins on the day.

How much do pumpkins cost?

Pumpkins are individually priced depending on their size and variety. Prices start from just a few pounds, with a fantastic selection to choose from.

Can we pick more than one pumpkin?

Absolutely! You're welcome to choose as many pumpkins as you'd like and simply pay for any additional pumpkins at the checkout.
